Xero Awards 2022

The Xero Awards is an event that celebrates the excellence of Xero’s partner community and highlights the work they achieve every day for small business. For the 2022 event, the creative team was tasked with designing an intimate ceremony that encourages meaningful connections with the Xero community.

Using Xero’s 2022 global theme of ‘Fresh Perspectives’, the team developed the design concept of ‘Outstanding in your field’: Let’s celebrate everything that our partners have achieved, the resilience they’ve shown, and how they’ve been able to stand out and flourish while championing their clients and helping them thrive. The tenacity and commitment thatʼs got them to this point is hopefully the groundwork for future success as well.

A project of this scale required a large number of assets for output, as well as design consideration within all areas of the event, including branding, creation of digital and print assets, photoshoot art direction, event design, merchandise design, and design and wayfinding of the physical space. I co-lead this project with another designer, and worked with a photographer and an event team to achieve the final result.
